Max Landis: Basically what happens is I...ever since I was little I go to my dad and write three words on a piece of paper, “Godzilla attacks town”, I go, “Dad I made this movie!.” And he’d go, “Max it’s not quite that easy.” And finally one day he said to me about 5 years ago said, “Y’know why don’t you write one of these scripts?” So I wrote a script and he went, “Wow this is really good!” And made me feel like glowing inside and he started saying, “No Max, you should try pitching this to so and so.” And he was getting excited about it which made me excited about it and...But still I was like dad make this movie and he was still, “Max it’s not that easy.” And then finally he got involved in ‘Masters of Horror’ with guys I have known since I was a little kid: Joe Dante, and like all these guys and he said, “Max, do you want to write my episode?” And I went, “Yes please, yes please! I’d love to do that!”
