Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games: Team GB return: press conference; David Weir (athletics medal winner) SOT - I don't know what to say, - I was just honoured tog et my first gold medal... - to win the 1500 was the best result of my career as it's the blue ribbon event in wheelchair racing, and to get a couple of golds of the team... to get couple of golds for team to boost morale / had young squad so was quite a hard target to get so many medals... - was tough but looking promising for 2012... - I think we did alright out of the wheelchair racing... I'll be there 2012 so there'll hopefully be more medals... - fantastic / when out there I didn't have the chance ot get on the internet and read papers so coming back it's just amazing, one of the best feeling in the world Phil Lane Paralympics chef de mission) SOT - I'd like to finish that it's been fantastic managing this team... GVs of team with medals
