House votes to hold Attorney General Garland in contempt

California Congressman Jay Obernolte as Speaker Pro Tempore declares the 216-207 vote to adopt a Resolution Recommending that the House of Representatives Find United States Attorney General Merrick Garland in Contempt of Congress for Refusal to Comply with a Subpoena Duly Issued by the Committee on the Judiciary, then that a related resolution with a similar report by the Oversight and Accountability Committee was thereby adopted.
