California Congressman Mike Thompson says at a news conference with fellow Democrat to discuss recent US military action in Venezuela to capture dictator Nicolas Maduro for transport any criminal charges in New York as a potential Iraq 2 that there was no question that Maduro was bad guy but there was also no question that it was Congress that must approve acts of war, in 2002 they opposed invasion of Iraq and got lots of criticism for doing that knowing people's sons and daughters would die and justification they were given was nonsense asking American people stand with them against any unprovoked military expansion in Venezuela Cuba Greenland or any of this other nonsense this administration was talking about.
