Japan: Cold Wave Brings Record Snow To Regions Along Japan Sea

A cold air mass brought record snow to the Japan Sea side since Wednesday and dumped inches of snow. From the northernmost island of Hokkaido to Tohoku and Chugoku regions, towns were buried in deep snow and paralyzed traffic on highways, stranding trucks and private vehicles.
