Queensland Couple Foil Would-Be Car Thief

A couple in Queensland proved more than a match for a suspected thief recently, when they intervened in dramatic fashion to foil what they said was an attempt to rob their Landcruiser. CCTV footage recorded at the couple's home in Caboolture shows Terry Dennehy racing from the house and jumping into the Landcruiser as it comes into view. Dennehy's wife, Dee Arias, then appears, carrying a plank of wood. She strikes the suspect as Dennehy puts him in a headlock. The suspect then runs off, leaving the vehicle where he'd found it.
