Screen Snapshots go from Academy Award Winner Alice Brady to the Academy Awards Banquet at the Biltmore Bowl. The narrator tells the audience that the camera operators are using ultra-high-speed film so viewers can see the Hollywood stars better in this dark setting. A nice view of the guests from above the dance floor is shown. Conductor Jimmy Grier and his orchestra are seen from a distance. Pat O'Brien and his wife Eloise dance in the crowd. Next, Virginia Bruce, and her bridegroom J. Walter Ruben are seen cutting a rug. Writer Louella Parsons (the narrator's mother) meets up with Janet Gaynor and William Wellman on the dance floor to say hello. Henry Fonda and his wife, Frances, (the future parents of Jane Fonda and Peter Fonda) dance and look around the dance floor. Anita Louise dances cheek to cheek with a gentleman friend. Frances Dee and her husband Joel McCrea may not be newlyweds anymore, but it looks like they still love dancing with each other.
