DOCTOR WILLIAM PETIT ADDRESSES PRESS AFTER DEATH PENALTY SENTENCING

Dr. William Petit speaks to the press after a jury has condemned to death Joshua Komisarjevsky, the man he believes led the attack on his home that killed his wife and two daughters. Doctor Petit is the sole survivor of the attack, his wife and two kids were all murdered on July 23rd 2007. On December 9, 2011 the jury recommended the death penalty for Komisarjevsky. After the sentencing Dr. Petit spoke to the press. In this clip Dr. Petit says: ÒWe think society will be a little bit safer, with he and his co-defendant locked up and facing the death penalty.Ó
