During American Idol, she's from Burleson, Texas, also where Norval Blackstock is from, and they didn't know each other at the time, but they were both from Burlison. And when she won American Idol one of the things that she received as a, you know, I guess a gift or a reward was at the end show she got to sing with her idol and she chose me. And so we got to meet and then practise and then go to Vegas and sing the song together. We did, Does He Love You? A song that I'd won a Grammy for with Linda Davis. And so we sang that and then slowly became friends. Friends of hers were friends of my nieces and we just all hooked up. It was just fate taking a part in it, God putting our lives together.
