ISTANBUL, TURKIYE: Experienced German Coach Christoph Daum came to Türkiye, which he calls his second home, to visit his old club Fenerbahce and refresh his memories.The German coach, who won two Turkish Super League titles with the Yellow Canaries in his four-season career in the club, had emotional moments while visiting the club's museum and looking at the trophies he won.Taking photos with the trophies he won, Daum said that he missed the legendary days and successes he had with the Fenerbahce family.Stressing his passion and affection for the club, the experienced coach said that he considers himself lucky to be a part of one of the giants of sports history."Fenerbahce is one of the biggest sports clubs in the world and it is an honor for me to be a part of this club's history," he said.Pointing out that a lot has changed in the club over the years, Daum said the only thing that hasn't changed is the yellow-navy team's desire to always play at the top in every challenge and its dedicated fans who always support it.Wishing success to the club, which is fighting for the top in many branches of sports this season, Daum added that he sees Fenerbahce's championship chance as high.
