A father and daughter rescued a hypothermic deer stuck in an icy pond on their property in Drumright, Oklahoma, running off a pack of wild dogs that were attacking it, pulling the buck from the waters, and nursing it back to health. These videos taken by Alicia R Richardson show her husband and daughter, Chris and Irelyn, coming to the deer's aid. After they pulled it from the water, they stayed with the animal, who was temporarily unable to walk, with Irelyn providing it with snuggles and warm blankets. After the family ran the dogs off and pulled the buck from the pond, they let it spend the night in their barn. This video shows the deer, warm and rested in the morning, bound off to freedom.
