A fire suppression system malfunction caused foam chaos at Stennis International Airport, in Kiln, Mississippi, on Thursday, August 1. Footage taken by Simon Ryals shows large amounts of foam spewing out of the airport hangar facility into the parking lot. "Somebody's about to have the worst day," Ryals says in the video. "It just keeps going, and going, and growing… This is amazing," he adds. Others can be heard laughing in disbelief at the sight. The video has accumulated more than one million views on TikTok, where Ryals https://www.tiktok.com/@simonryals/video/7399792616113573166 posted it with the word "Oops." Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission (HCPHC) confirmed the incident took place at around 5pm on August 1 in a statement to Storyful. "Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission is aware of the video and the appropriate processes and procedures were followed with the appropriate agencies in response to the foam release in our hangar facility," CEO Blaine LaFontaine said. "HCPHC has been working with our tenant and vendor on a conversion and system upgrade to the fire suppression system that resulted in this event and release," Blaine added.
