Congressman DeSantis press statement on need for second special counsel

Florida Congressman Ron DeSantis says at a press conference on introducing a resolution to appoint a second special counsel that he was eagerly awaiting an inspector general report sought for almost 16 months about the Hillary Clinton case which would be beneficial but not sufficient to get accountability, that a special counsel is unruly but the difference with Ken Starr or the 1980s with an actual independent counsel, in his view and Justice Scalia constitutional was operating outside true supervision of the executive branch, calling Robert Mueller basically a DOJ employee who tells Rod Rosenstein what to do, that he does not want them involved in extraneous stuff but to answer core questions of potential violations of law and then move on or hold people accountable.
