VAN, TÜRKİYE - JULY 21: For a beekeeper in eastern Türkiye, being honey to the striped insects is all in a day’s work -- and also the quest to set a new world record.Abdulvahap Semo living in Van province has successfully covered his body with 60 kg (132 pounds) of bees, but his ultimate goal is to surpass the bee-collecting record, which currently stands at 63 kilograms in China.Current record holder Ruan Liangming of China got his buzz on covered in a thick layer of an estimated 637,000 bees weighing some 63.7 kg (140 lb.).With 33 years of experience in harvesting honey, Semo wants to reach 65 kilograms and break the existing world record.
