The event, held at Huntington Place, drew several thousand attendees, many of whom arrived early to hear Obama speak. Introduced by rap icon Eminem, Obama received a warm welcome, expressing his excitement to be back in 'Motor City.' He humorously noted, 'I heard there was another rally here on Friday night, but it was a little smaller than this.' In his 30-minute speech, Obama emphasized the significance of values and character in the electoral process, stating, 'Any election is about more than policies; it’s about values and it’s about character.'
