Fountain Nymph and Horse at Montagnola - 4K stock video
Pincio Fountain. Executed by Diego Sarti and Pietro Veronesi, based on a design by Muggia and Azzolini, it represents a sensual nymph in the tentacles of an octopus. She is also called "the Giant's wife" or “la moglie del Giganteâ€, that is, of Neptune. The definition probably arose from the sonnet that Giosuè Carducci dedicated to the work: "Ah my king! your caress / I ask in vain, I am taken down: / And my beauty was in vain / As your virtue is in vain". The fountain is at the base of the Pincio stairs, Montagnola Park, Bologna, Italy
