Greenwood Park Mall Shooting

Four people including the suspect were killed in a shooting at the Grrenwood Park Mall just south of Indianapolis. At 6:05 pm Sunday July 17th Greenwood police responded to a shooting in the mall's food court, located at 2400 E Countyline Rd. in Greenwood Indiana. In a press briefing Greenwood Police Chief said a 22 year old man armed with a rifle and several magazines of ammunition entered the food court and open fire, striking 5 people. An armed citizen returned fire, killing the suspect. Three victims were pronounced dead at the scene and two others were transported to an are hospital with conditions unknown.
