Arrests at Protest Outside Brooklyn Synagogue

Four people were arrested after protesters and counter-protesters clashed near a Brooklyn synagogue on Monday, May 11. Footage by Gerard Dalbon shows some of the chaos that unfolded as pro-Palestine and pro-Israel protesters faced off near Young Israel of Midwood, an orthodox synagogue on Ocean Avenue. A spokesperson for pro-Palestine organization PAL-Awda NY https://www.instagram.com/reels/DYN9OKYMsWP/ said the group was demonstrating against the 'Great Israeli Real Estate Event' being held there. The spokesperson said the event was advertising properties for sale in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, in a 'grave violation of international law.'
