Mary Portas Issues retail warning
VOICED: A fresh attempt to rescue Britain's struggling high streets has been launched, after a report revealed that they now attract less than half of all consumer spending. Retail expert Mary Portas was commissioned by the Government to help traditional shopping centres compete with the internet and out-of-town malls. The TV presenter calls for more street stalls, less parking charges and a cutting of red tape. Exterior shots of To Let signs and empty building. BBC Clip removed.
