In an early 1900s silent film, Harry the doctor is tricked at the wedding altar by his fiancee and his old girlfriend that he dumped
[From Paramount Screen Souvenirs, probably #3-9] [with added humorous narration throughout, not part of original movie; original film title not known] / Title "Proudly Harry stands up in his wedding suit--but Rosie, the needlewoman, will undo him" / Lilac and Harry in Jewish wedding ceremony with her parents attending and men holding up the chuppah (wedding canopy), Lilac gets faint and has to leave room / Lilac returns but with veil over her face. Harry puts the ring on the bride's finger but when he pulls back the veil it is Rosie the seamstress who he dumped. Lilac tells off Harry but Harry decides to accept Rosie as his wife / "The End" with Paramount Pictures logo and VO "Auld Lang Syne"
