Juanes and Casillas lend their leg against anti-pe
Geneve, 2 Mar (EFE).- UN General Secretary, Ban Ki-moon, Colombian singer Juanes, Real Madrid's goalkeeper Iker Casillas and Colombian soccer player Carlos Valderrama are some of the thousands of people from all over the world that will roll up their trousers' leg to take part on 04 April in the world initiative 'Lend your Leg' against anti-personnel mines that was presented at the UN headquarters in Geneve, Switzerland. The promoter of the campaign, Juan Pablo Salazar, said that its aim is to call all the world to go outside with their trousers' leg rolled up to raise people awareness about anti-personnel mines on the occassion of the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action.
