BONN, GERMANY - APRIL 26: German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has met the representatives of the Muslim Women Social Work Association (SMF) in the western city of Bonn on Tuesday, (Apr.27).With his wife Elke Büdenbender, Steinmeier welcomed the representatives of the association, Ayten Kilicarslan, Halide Ozkurt and Hatice Kocak at Villa Hammerschmidt --Steinmeier's second official residence in Bonn --Before the meeting, he expressed his pleasure for the meeting with Muslim women in Ramadan.Noting that he had to cancel the iftar invitation last year due to Covid-19, Steinmeier said that it was important that they could come together and have a meeting even it wasn't on iftar time.The president also thanked the Muslim community in the country for their attention in the Covid-19 period.SMF representatives wrote their messages in the visitors' book of the official residence.
