Golden Retriever Infatuated With Her Friend's Newborn Puppies

A golden retriever whose friend gave birth to a litter of puppies a few weeks ago could not resist the urge to climb into the teeming pile of adorable babies when they were finally old enough to meet her on February 1. Lindsay Baker captured this precious moment when her dog Stella interacted with her partner's dog's three-week-old puppies for the first time at their home in Waukegan, Illinois. In the video, Stella is seen gingerly stepping into the puppies' playpen and nuzzling them as they crowd around her. Later, the puppies' mom, Lulu, is seen nursing the brood while Stella hangs out with the family. Speaking to Storyful, Baker said that Stella "fell in love with the puppies at first sight." "She helps Lulu clean them and comes running when they cry as if she is their mom as well, these puppies are getting twice the love!" she added.
