INGLEWOOD, UNITED STATES - FEBRUARY 14: Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry faced a packed scrum of reporters on Saturday on Feb. 14 as NBA All-Star 2026 opened its weekend programming with Media Day at Intuit Dome, the Los Angeles Clippers’ new home arena in Inglewood.The 75th edition of the league’s midseason showcase is rolling out a revamped “U.S. vs. World” concept in which two U.S. teams and one international team compete in a round-robin of four 12-minute games, with the top two teams advancing to a championship matchup.Curry, a 12-time All-Star and one of the event’s biggest draws, took questions ranging from the new format to the spotlight on Los Angeles and Inglewood as hosts. The Media Day session — staged ahead of Saturday night’s skills and dunk festivities — is part of the league’s three-day All-Star schedule running Feb. 13–15 across venues in the L.A. area, with the All-Star Game set for Sunday evening at Intuit Dome.While Curry was voted into this year’s All-Star selections, he will not play in Sunday’s game due to a right knee injury, and the NBA announced that Toronto forward Brandon Ingram will replace him on the roster.Even so, Curry’s presence remained central on Media Day, where cameras tracked his interactions — and even his footwear choice, highlighted by the league’s live updates from the event.
