Guinevere is a calf who was just born a few days ago. She lives on a beautiful farm in Millbrook, Ontario, with a very happy and easy life. She follows her mother around and watches as mom grazes happily on lush green grass. The herd has acres of meadow and forest, along with ponds full of fresh water. Guinevere is too young to digest grass and she nurses several times a day to get milk from her mother, but she will watch and imitate her mom, even chewing at the grass to see what the appeal is. After 3-4 months, she will start to get some of her nutrition from grass too. She will rely on her mother for milk for up to nine months.
