GVs busy backstage activity at the Chanel Ready to Wear show; 1989

GVs backstage at the Chanel Ready to Wear show, as part of Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 1989-1990. Karl Lagerfeld was chief designer at Chanel at the time. Shots include; model, Inès de La Fressange, after coming off the catwalk/runway, and entering the dressing room, then being quickly helped by several Assistants all at once in getting Inès changed (in the background of this shot we can see an obscured view of Karl Lagerfeld and Gilles Dufour, talking to a couple of models, including Cristina Córdula). Cuts to someone helping fasten a chain belt on a model whilst the model keeps walking towards the catwalk entrance, followed by a shot just behind the curtain, before entering the runway stage, of models walking forwards, and being hurried out in their various Chanel outfits- Chief Make-Up Designer at Chanel, Dominique Moncourtois can also be seen as the models head out on stage.
