Hinners Point in Marathon Valley, Mars - HD stock video
Hinner's Point, Marathon Valley, Mars. Pan across a composite panorama of Hinners Point, at the northern edge of Marathon Valley on Mars. Marathon Valley is found cutting through the western rim of Endeavour crater, and observations have detected clay minerals there. Inspections by Nasa's Opportunity rover have found rock compositions on the valley floor are higher in silica and lower in iron than the typical composition of rocks on the rim of the crater. This footage combines six frames taken by the panoramic camera (Pancam) on NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Opportunity on August 14th 2015
