Hugo Silva recalls that the fame that a young footballer can achieve cannot be compared to that of a young actor: "I think that the level of media fame and money for football cannot be compared with the Spanish audiovisual. Not even with the Ibero-American, Spanish-speaking audiovisual". He experienced success at a very young age and assures that the key to managing it is time: "I believe that fame, and like everything else, is managed with time." "They are very young people, exposed to a lot of pressure and you have to be very well advised to handle that." He thanks the public for the love received throughout his career: "I am very grateful to the public, really. They are the ones who rule and I continue to have continuity in this work that has treated me as well as the public and I always go to be very grateful."
