Senator Crapo press statement on banking regulation reform

Idaho Senator Mike Crapo tells reporters that each of three themes of Economic Growth, Regulatory Reform and Consumer Protection Act define the bill, efforts to grow, capital formation, access to credit and allow small businesses to grow, and to allow individuals to have a smoother pathway to buy a home or engage in something else important with access to credit. Crapo says of opposition that the bill focuses on smaller financial institutions rather than rolling back protections against Wall Street abuses in the Dodd Frank reform bill, but rather on credit unions and community banks.
