Illinois Congressman Chuy García says at a Congressional Hispanic Caucus press conference to demand that Kilmar Abrego Garcia be returned after deportation to a prison in El Salvador that the question for all immigrants was who would it happen to next, possibly even members of the press if they published things that were true but not satisfactory to the Administration, as they had seen someone taken from the street and people in the speaker's district nabbed off the street and deported without probable cause or an arrest warrant with racial and ethnic profiling undoubtedly occurring, emphasizing they were there because they cared about the Constitution and believed in family reunification.
