Interview Andy Butler, First Team Manager, Scunthorpe United F.C., On Scunthorpe player Jonathan Gjoshe being injured in the LNER train stabbings, "Hopefully we can help him recover, because it won't just be the physical side, it'll be the mental side" (BBC News 10pm bulletin - 03/11/25 - AEXZ288W) STORY: On Saturday 1st November 2025, train passengers travelling from Doncaster to London Kings Cross on the 18.25 LNER service, were attacked in a mass stabbing. The suspect, Anthony Williams, got on at Peterborough, when he started attacking the passengers with a knife, after the train had passed through Peterborough. The train made an unscheduled stop at Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire where police arrested the suspect. Eleven people received hospital treatment with one seriously injured.
