Japanese Princess Akiko tours archaeological institutions in Türkiye
SANLIURFA, TÜRKİYE — SEPT. 20, 2025: Japanese Princess Akiko of Mikasa visited Sanliurfa Archaeological Museum and an excavation research center in southeastern Türkiye on Saturday, Sept. 20.During her visit, Princess Akiko examined Neolithic-era artifacts and was briefed by museum director Celal Uludag. She later met with the Japanese team set to take part in upcoming excavation efforts in the Ayanlar Hoyuk area.A necklace worn by the princess drew attention.
