Julián López 'El Juli' claims to feel proud of his career as a bullfighter: "I feel proud, I think I've been through everything a bullfighter can go through, from the positive to the negative." He recognizes that there is more and more bullfighting fans: "I think there is a very strong revitalization of bullfighting. Bullfighting I think it is one of the best moments or the best that I have known and I believe that great years are coming for bullfighting" . On the other hand, he confesses that he would prefer that his son not dedicate himself to bullfighting: "I hope not. Being a bullfighter is the most beautiful profession in the world but it is tremendously hard so I, for example, would be a bullfighter again, because good or bad things I suffer from them. But having a bullfighter son would make me suffer a lot, because I would have to go through everything that I have gone through again in a career that I imagine would be different. And I would wish him a little more life. Don't worry. Especially for me. Selfishly speaking, it would be a great suffering for me." Julián López 'El Juli' attends his recognition for his magnificent season and his absolute dedication to bullfighting at the XIV edition of the ABC Bullfighting Award.
