London Marathon 2023: Kelvin Kiptum, Sifan Hassan and Sir Mo Farah interviews / GVs of masses finishing; Part 1 of 5 ENGLAND: London:INTSir Mo Farah (Olympic gold medallist) introduced, along and sitting down for interviewSir Mo Farah (Olympic gold medallist) interview SOTQ: (Tim Hutchings) ARE YOU HAPPY WHEN YOU LOOK BACK ON YOUR MARATHON CAREER- Found transition to marathon running a struggle, 2018 was my best ever marathon and it was at London, was a British record which I later beat in Chicago / as an athlete mixed feelings looking backQ: (Tim Hutchings) WILL YOU LOOK BACK AND THINK YOU COULD HAVE RUN FASTER AT THE MARATHON- Not at all, after Chicago, at that point I felt like I could have gone a little faster; all the rest of the marathons I was hurting / but that's marathon / I look back at track and think I could have run a bit faster / overall though I've had an amazing career; I knew how to win races, that was my specialityQ: (Tim Hutchings) YOUR FIRST MARATHON IN FOUR YEARS, HAS IT BEEN A STRUGGLE TO GET TO THE START LINE- I've had good preparation, my last two years I have struggled with my body, not being able to do what I want it to do in terms of running 120 miles week in week out / you keep going up and down instead of a smooth ride / but in terms of preparation for this race I'm training comfortably / I thought I could run between 2:05 and 2:07, but the body didn't respond today, a little disappointing / the hardest thing is you can do the work, but if the body's not responding, you know it's time to call it.
