Pat Ruthensmear – Golden Boys (Live) | Phoenix, Arizona | April 16, 1988
Legendary guitarist Pat Ruthensmear, later known as Pat Smear (Germs, Nirvana, Foo Fighters), performs “Golden Boys” during a raw underground video shoot at 221 W Adams Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. The track, originally penned by Darby Crash, was featured on Smear’s debut solo album “Ruthensmear” (SST Records, 1987). This footage captures the post-Germs punk-to-glam evolution and the spirit of Phoenix's late-‘80s DIY scene.
