Flames Engulf Multi-Story Building in Sydney

A major fire broke out in a multi-story building near Sydney's Central Station on the afternoon of May 25. Footage by Danielle Daly shows the dramatic scene, as large flames billow from the building. Local media https://www.9news.com.au/national/sydney-news-massive-building-fire-sending-smoke-over-city/d961edd8-3c69-4854-b8a4-65bbfee2adab reported that hundreds of people were evacuated and parts of the building collapsed. Fire and Rescue NSW https://www.fire.nsw.gov.au/incident.php?record=recSJCpx4bVjcXCgG said the inferno was beginning to spread to several neighboring buildings, including residential apartments. At least one vehicle in the vicinity was destroyed by fire. More than 100 firefighters were working to contain and extinguish the blaze.
