JABLANICA, BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA - OCTOBER 15: A mass funeral ceremony was held for 19 people who lost their lives in Jablanica on Tuesday, Oct. 15, which was most affected by the flood disaster in Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 4.The funeral ceremony held at the “Jasen” cemetery in Jablanica was attended by the President of the Presidency Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Becirovic, Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Niksic, President of the Islamic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein Kavazovic, relatives of the flood victims and thousands of citizens.Kavazovic, who led the funeral prayer, stated that those who drowned reached the rank of “martyr” and expressed his condolences to the relatives of the deceased.While there were emotional moments at the coffins wrapped in green boats, the bodies, including a pregnant woman among those who lost their lives, will be buried in the towns of Donja Jablanica, Djevor and Zlata.While at least 26 people lost their lives in the flood disaster that occurred in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday, October 4 and affected 5 cities, the search for 1 person reported missing in the city of Konjic continues.
