- We don't believe that simply removing Cressida Dick from post would be sufficient, although it is clear that ultimately the buck stops with her and we support Sadiq Khan's view that there is a lack of a plan to boost public confidence in the Metropolitan Police. It's simply, I think, a question of taking real drastic steps to remove those officers who abuse their positions of power. The discarding of bad apples from within the orchard that needs to take place sooner rather than later.
