Mina El Hammani prefers to be discreet when talking about the difficult moment that her partner Hiba Abouk is going through: "she is wonderful". Regarding the importance of mental health in jobs such as acting, she comments: "after all, not all people can opt for that, I think we have to emphasize that politicians and the government give the value which is necessary, especially so that people who cannot access it have that resource. Luckily I can go to therapy once a week, but there are many people who don't". Regarding how it is to be told no over and over again in castings, Mina acknowledges: "at first yes, then you get used to it, in the end it's part of your job, it's part of all the events, a lot of insecurities are generated, it's a lot of emotional work and you have to digest it".
