Supporters Take Part In New York City's Israel Day Parade

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - MAY 18: Mummers, costumed entertainers, perform during the Celebrate Israel Parade up Fifth Avenue on May 18, 2025 in New York City. Heavy security and road closures surrounded this year’s march as the Israel-Hamas war continues. The annual parade, led by state, city, and community leaders, celebrates Israeli independence and had over 40,000 participants, with many of the groups carrying signs calling for the release of the remaining 58 hostages that are still being held in Gaza.
