Muntjac Deer (Muntiacus reevesi) - 4K stock video
Munching on Apples under an Apple tree in late Autumn Muntjac were introduced to the UK in the early 19th century and have since become widespread, particularly in southern England. John Russell Reeves (1774–1856) came across them when he lived in China and sent specimens back to England.Muntjac are a non-native species and adults have no natural predators. As a result, their populations can grow very large with a potentially negative impact on the environment.More information is available form the Woodland Trust Charity here in the UK.https://www.woodlandtrust.org.ukCaptured with a motion sensor camera.
