KYOTO, JAPAN – NOV. 25: Name boards of Kabuki actors were displayed at the facade of Minamiza, kabuki theater in Kyoto, Japan, on November 25 before the start of an annual year-end performance called "kichirei kaomise" to be held between November 30 and December 26. The display ritual is called manekiage and the names were written with traditional thick brush and black ink on 1.8-meter-tall ''hinoki'' Japanese cypress boards.
