Congressman Garbarino calls on fellow lawmakers to advance 9/11 health program funding fix immediately if already too late
New York Congressman Andrew Garbarino says answering a reporter question about legislative prospects and procedure at an outdoor news conference on the 9/11 Responder and Survivor Health Funding Correction Act of 2025 that they would put it in a bill that was passing that night if they could get the done as quickly as possible, noting it is already too late and they have to get it done now, and they can only trust the actuaries who do the analysis indicate the cost would be about three billion dollars which supporters were asking for.
