New York Congressman Gregory Meeks says at an evening outdoor news conference about formation of the Congressional Public Housing Caucus that he was a little poor boy from New York City who grew up in public housing until college, which provided him an opportunity to see a better America because his family had a roof over their head, allowing his parents who came from the south looking for better opportunities to invest in their kids, and mentioned a little league coach who lived in public housing who took kids around to play baseball, something he believed Elon Musk and President Trump would love to cut.
