Congressman LaLota urges Congress to fully restore SALT deduction

New York Congressman Nick LaLota says at a news event to announce recreation of the SALT Caucus for the 118th Congress to work on ending a federal cap on the state and local tax deduction imposed under the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that the bipartisan group was standing strong to fully restore SALT, which was taken away a few years ago when the other party had control of both houses in the White House, and they want to deliver SALT back to their states, including New York, to write the wrong of only receiving 93 cents back of investment from Washington for every dollar paid in taxes.
