NEW YORK, NY – MARCH 12, 2020: New York governor Andrew Cuomo has called for the shutdown of all performances at Broadway and Off-Broadway theater shows over COVID-19 fears. The global coronavirus pandemic continues to spread. Corporate entities and government bodies responding by canceling large-scale events of all kinds. Shown here is the Theatre Development Fund (TDF) is a Not-For-Profit Organization for the Performing Arts dedicated to assisting the theatre industry in New York City. TDF operates three TKTS Discount Booths in New York City, including the flagship location in Times Square.
