Newsreel reporting on Christmas parades in New York City and Toronto. In New York, two million people line the streets to watch inflatables including characters such as Superman, a dinosaur, a dragon, Popeye and Underdog process through Manhattan along with floats. Small children are enthralled. In Toronto, small children wave at floats including a character with a moveable head, a large dolphin and Peter the Polar Bear. The 'biggest attraction of all is the jolly bearded man in the red suit' along with galloping reindeer. New York City, USA and Toronto, Canada; autumn/winter 1966, precise dates unknown.
