Odesa Residents Protest Against Inappropriate Spending Of Budget Money
ODESA, UKRAINE – SEPTEMBER 2: Participants stand with placards that read "I want hemostatic tourniquets for the military instead of repairing the court building worth 106 million hryvnias", "I want drones for the military instead of repairing the theater of young audience worth 31 million hryvnias", "Stop inadequate tenders. Stop senseless purchases! The Armed Forces - first of all!" during a protest against inappropriate spending of budget funds by the city on September 2, 2023 in Odesa, Ukraine. On the "City Day" in Odesa, Odesa residents protested for the sixth time, speaking out against the inappropriate spending of budget money. People are outraged by the replacement of new cobblestones on the roads, and the repair work in the court building worth over one hundred million hryvnias, because these funds were supposed to be directed to the needs of the Armed Forces, such as drones, hemostatic tourniquets, and cars.
