Bus strike: People get to work; 10.45pm ENGLAND: London: EXTLS Dense traffic towards along road: Slow travel shot past Queue of traffic:MS People walking and traffic over Waterloo Bridge: MS Balham Tube Station pan down to queue outside: MS Clapham Common station pan down to queue: CMS Queue:Peter & Woman: Had forty minutes walk from home to station at Greenford: Was not offered a lift. Wouldn't flag anybody down (Why?) Modesty she supposes!Peter & Man CS: Had 20 minutes walk - his feet ache a bit:Huw & man (through car window): He gave lifts as far as Streatham, then they baled out - didn't bring anyone into town, but would have been quite willing to do so.Huw & man: He managed to get a train - doesn't normally use it - doesn't know if he'll got back to the buses - trains seem to be quicker. Reggie & man (with bike): Doesn't normally bring bike - tried to park it at Barnes - no storage space so he brought it on the train - going to cycle to work now.Reggie & girl: Made no different to her as she came straight up from Walton-on-Thames.Long TS: Traffic at Marble Arch, pan along: Huw & taxi drier: Business is not good, he can't get about in traffic. Hasn't seen any people stranded.
