Protesters demonstrate against closure of Navan A&E department
People take part in a protest in Kells, Co Meath, against the HSE proposal to close the emergency department in Navan's Our Lady's hospital. The HSE plans to change the hospital to a 'model 2' facility, which will see the intensive care unit and small emergency department close and a 24/7 medical assessment unit and injuries unit take their place.Speakers are Aontu leader Peadar Toibin, James Galligan, kilmainham wood, Meath and Deirdre Butler, from Kells, co Meath
